> Officials said at least two people died when a seven-storey building partly collapsed in Istanbul’s Maltepe district. Eight people were rescued, while crews searched for two others believed trapped. Fears of further collapse slowed the operation, and nearby buildings were evacuated. The cause was unknown as an investigation began.
