# Single Ebola death in Kenya raises fears of wider spread in Africa

> The WHO says the Kenyan patient had been living in the DRC, where the illness first began and was treated. The patient travelled through Uganda to Nairobi and later died. Kenya is strengthening surveillance at high-risk entry points and tracking contacts and people aboard the flight. The outbreak is caused by the Bundibugyo strain, for which there is no vaccine.
