> Efforts by countries mediating talks between Iran and the United States to resolve the conflict have reached a deadlock, Al Hadath reported, citing a senior US source. The source said Washington had told Tehran that bilateral talks would make no progress until Iran’s nuclear capabilities were curtailed. Washington no longer considers the Strait of Hormuz a priority, the source said, because the US assessment is that Iran has lost control of it.
