> The Liberian-flagged Aframax Rio caught fire in the Black Sea off Sochi on October 6 after Russia’s Transport Ministry said uncrewed boats attacked it. All 23 crew members were evacuated. Authorities closed beaches and advised residents to limit exposure; officials said air pollutant levels remained within permissible limits and no pollution had been detected in the nearby sea.
