> Former BND chief August Hanning was arrested in Germany on suspicion of treasonous espionage, obtaining state secrets and attempted treason, federal prosecutors said. His former aide, Manfred D., was also detained. Prosecutors allege Manfred supplied Hanning with about 2,000 documents through a paid arrangement, and that Hanning used classified information in private consulting work.
