> Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye said Pakistan and Türkiye will provide military forces and capabilities for rapid deployment to Saudi Arabia under the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement. The announcement came as Yemeni government forces intensified their offensive against the Houthis and claimed to have retaken the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a claim the Houthis disputed.
