> Former BND chief August Hanning was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of espionage, treason and working for foreign intelligence services, federal prosecutors said. The case is embarrassing for Germany as it seeks to expand the powers of its intelligence agencies. Hanning led the BND from 1998 to 2005.
