> Forces aligned with Yemen’s internationally recognised government have launched an offensive to retake the strategic mountainous district of al-Waziiya in Taiz from the Houthis, as part of a broader drive to recover the Red Sea coast and Bab al-Mandeb Strait. The Houthis deny the advance and say they repelled it. Saudi-led forces say they intercepted a Houthi ballistic missile, while attacks on two southern Saudi airports injured three people.
