> Around 400 to 500 French high schools are expected to be fully or partly closed on Monday as students protest poor school conditions, overcrowding and teacher shortages ahead of nationwide demonstrations on Tuesday. About 5,000 people have been arrested since last week, with dozens injured and fears of further violence in Paris.
