> Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has called an early general election for November 29. He said he had informed the head of state and would convene an extraordinary cabinet meeting to dissolve parliament under the legal timetable. The move followed parliament’s rejection of two government housing decrees amid widespread protests over the housing crisis.
