> Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has called an early election for 29 November after parliament rejected measures intended to address the housing crisis and protect tenants. Protests intensified after 87-year-old Maricarmen Abascal was evicted from her Madrid home, while Sánchez said broader progressive support was needed to advance reforms.
