> Up to 500 French high schools are set for a second week of full or partial closures on Monday over deteriorating facilities, overcrowding and teacher shortages. A nationwide protest day is planned for Tuesday. Early Monday morning, the situation outside a school in Aubervilliers was relatively calm as students sought to revive last week’s momentum after a quiet weekend.
