> Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has called a snap general election for November 29 after parliament rejected housing relief measures proposed by his minority government. The defeat was followed by mass protests over the housing crisis, including a demonstration in Madrid that the government said drew more than 70,000 people.
