> Yemen’s internationally recognized government has announced a new offensive to retake territory held by the Iran-backed Houthis. The announcement followed the rebels’ capture of a key road linking Taiz and Aden, effectively isolating Taiz. More than 70 people were reportedly killed in fighting around the city over the past day.
