> The first two of Taiwan’s 66 US-ordered F-16Vs arrived at Taitung’s Chihhang Air Base after repeated delays. Their arrival days after Xi Jinping’s visit to the US has renewed scrutiny of US-China bargaining and Washington’s security commitment to Taiwan. Taiwan says delivery of the remaining 64 jets will continue to be coordinated.
