> Thousands of Imran Khan supporters have set out from northwestern Pakistan toward Islamabad, demanding his release and transfer to a hospital. The government has erected roadblocks to keep protesters from entering the capital after talks between the government and Khan’s party deadlocked. The convoy is expected to take four or five days, with rallies planned along the route.
