> Yemen’s Saudi-backed government has announced a major operation to retake territory held by the Iran-backed Houthis. The announcement follows exchanges of strikes involving the Houthis and the Saudi-led coalition, including the group’s claimed attack on Aramco sites. Fighting remains concentrated around Taiz, where the Houthis are reported to have cut a key supply route to Aden.
