> Ethiopian government forces have reportedly advanced against the Tigray People’s Liberation Front and retaken Alula Aba Nega Airport in Mekelle. Neither side has officially confirmed control of the city, while communications blackouts and restricted media access complicate reporting. The renewed fighting has raised fears of a wider conflict in the Horn of Africa.
