> Tens of thousands rallied in Madrid and about 50 other Spanish cities after parliament rejected two decrees intended to ease the housing crisis and support tenants. Protesters demanded affordable housing measures and called for a general strike. Police used rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse demonstrators in Valencia, increasing pressure on Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s minority government.
