> Tigray People's Liberation Front rebels were leaving Mekelle, the regional capital in northern Ethiopia, on Saturday, according to local reports. The TPLF has fought federal forces and pro-government militias since September 23 and attacked neighbouring states, prompting fears of a return to an all-out civil war like the one from 2020 to 2022.
