# Russia may partially resume diesel exports if fuel surplus emerges, Novak says

> Russia’s diesel market is currently balanced, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said. Although an export ban was renewed for October, authorities may partially reopen exports if overproduction develops. Novak said excessive stockpiling could force lower refining volumes and reduce output of other products in demand.
