> Indian Flydubai captain Smit Machchhar says he fought back after being attacked by his co-pilot on a flight bound for Israel because he could not let everyone on board die. He opened the cockpit door, enabling passengers to overpower the attacker. The plane landed safely in Saudi Arabia, with everyone surviving. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi called him in hospital.
