> Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and opposition candidate Flavio Bolsonaro skipped the final televised debate before Sunday’s first-round presidential vote. TV Globo cancelled it after court rulings created what it called legal uncertainty. Police later ruled out a bomb threat outside the Supreme Court after finding only personal belongings in a suspect’s backpack.
