> A cockpit stabbing on flydubai flight FZ 1073, bound for Tel Aviv, prompted claims of terrorism, hijacking and geopolitical involvement. The plane plunged 17,000ft in less than two minutes before passengers and crew overpowered the alleged attacker, the co-pilot, and helped secure an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. All 174 passengers escaped serious injury, while the attacker’s motives and any Iranian involvement remain under investigation.
