> According to a Thursday statement, Mediapart’s review deemed a group of antisemitic texts genuine; they were purportedly sent in 2013 by far-right politician Jordan Bardella. Bardella denied being their author and announced plans to sue over defamation and forgery. The allegations surfaced seven months ahead of France’s presidential election, with Marine Le Pen topping the polls.
