> Prime Minister Mark Carney has designated the proposed Pacific Link crude oil pipeline a project of national interest, allowing a single federal regulatory review targeted for completion by September 1, 2027. The west-coast route is intended to increase non-US exports, support growth and reduce Canada’s dependence on the US market.
