> Lviv’s Shevchenkivskyi District Court sentenced Dnipro resident Viacheslav Zinchenko to life in prison for murdering politician Iryna Farion and illegally possessing a weapon. He denied the charges. Prosecutors said the killing was motivated by national intolerance and linked to Farion’s civic work. She was shot outside her Lviv home in July 2024 and later died in hospital.
