> The motive behind the apparent attempted hijacking of Flydubai flight FZ1073 remains unclear after the co-pilot allegedly stabbed the captain and was subdued. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has linked the incident to his warnings that Israel’s enemies may attack Israelis abroad, claiming the co-pilot underwent “Islamist radical indoctrination.” Analysts say the episode could bolster his election narrative and calls for intensified strikes on Iran, while opposition leader Yair Lapid rejects any connection.
