# Flydubai passenger recalls hugging children as plane plunged during cockpit attack

> Adam Polovincik told the BBC he held his six-year-old son and three-year-old daughter tightly and reassured them as a Flydubai plane plunged more than 17,000ft after one pilot allegedly stabbed another while trying to seize control. Passengers and crew subdued the attacker and landed safely. The injured pilot is stable in hospital and the alleged attacker has been arrested.
