> The UAE’s chief prosecutor has ordered an investigation into the alleged attempted hijacking and possible crash of a flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv. Authorities will examine whether terrorist intent, premeditation or accomplices were involved. Passengers subdued the copilot after he stabbed the captain and sent the plane into a steep dive; all passengers escaped with only minor injuries reported among those who intervened.
