> Christa Pike, who has spent more than 30 years on death row for torturing and murdering a classmate, was due to be executed on Wednesday. The lethal injections failed to kill her, and she was taken to a medical facility. Her lawyers said they had received no information about her condition beyond confirmation that she remained alive.
