> The China Coast Guard says it carried out law-enforcement patrols on Wednesday in the territorial sea around Huangyan Dao. It said patrols in the relevant waters have been stepped up since September, with ships involved in what it calls illegal rights violations regulated under the law to protect China’s territorial sovereignty and maritime interests.
