# Russia extends diesel export ban for producers by one month

> Russia’s government has extended through October 31, 2026 a ban on direct producers exporting diesel, marine fuel and gas oils. The measure is intended to stabilize the domestic fuel market amid stronger motor-fuel demand during the autumn harvest season. A broader fuel export ban remains in force through January 31, 2027.
