> Leaders of India’s Congress-led INDIA bloc met in New Delhi to coordinate opposition to the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision of voter lists and address controversy over Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge called for the revision to be rolled back and for Kumar to resign, arguing that voters’ rights and the commission’s independence are under serious threat.
