# Most powerful obesity drug yet? Trial finds patients lost up to 25% of their weight

> Late-stage trial results for retatrutide show that patients receiving the highest dose lost an average of 25% of their body weight after 80 weeks and 30% after 104 weeks. More than one-third lost at least 30%. The drug also improved knee pain, sleep apnea, cardiometabolic measures and prediabetes. The trial involved 2,339 people across 11 countries.
