> A Russian nuclear-capable Tu-95 bomber crashed near Krasnoyarovo shortly after taking off from Ukrainka air base, killing all six crew members. Russia had used the base to shelter strategic bombers that survived Ukraine’s Operation Spiderweb, which destroyed or damaged more than 40 aircraft at Russian airfields in June 2025.
