> French high school students blockaded dozens of schools and public-sector workers went on strike against planned budget cuts. Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said 440 people were arrested nationwide on Tuesday as clashes with police left people injured. More than 330 high schools were affected, with the action coming two days before the government presents its 2027 budget draft and seven months before the presidential election.
