> A Madrid pensioner whose eviction triggered nationwide protests can return home after reaching an agreement with the property’s owners, her lawyer said Monday. The eviction of 87-year-old Maricarmen Abascal has pushed Spain’s long-running housing crisis to the centre of political debate, with about 100 tents in Madrid’s Puerta del Sol and tens of thousands protesting nationwide.
