> Jordan Yap, a 30-year-old experienced hiker from Melbourne, last contacted family and friends on 14 September before beginning a planned 10-day solo trek through Peru’s Huayhuash range. He missed his expected return, a hostel check-in and a flight, while private rescuers have found no trace. His family is seeking more help from Australian and Peruvian authorities.
