> An 87-year-old Madrid pensioner whose eviction became a rallying point for Spain’s housing protests will return home after reaching an agreement with the property owners, her lawyer said Monday. Demonstrations nationwide are increasing pressure on Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s government over soaring rents, a shortage of affordable homes and weak tenant protections.
