> Russia plans to spend 17.1 trillion roubles ($202.58 billion) on its military in 2027, about 27% more than previously budgeted, Reuters reported. That would be its highest military spending since the 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Budget documents also show plans for 50 trillion roubles over three years, while Vladimir Putin signed a decree adding 15,500 personnel to the armed forces.
