# Flights between Iraq’s Najaf and Iran resume as Tehran protests US curbs

> Iraqi Airways has resumed commercial flights between Najaf and Iranian airports after Najaf and three other Iraqi airports temporarily halted service over fears of US secondary sanctions. Iran filed a complaint with the International Civil Aviation Organization over the aviation sanctions and told the agency it had also approached the International Court of Justice over attacks on airports, aircraft and radar systems.
