> Relatives of 54-year-old businessman Vladimir Shch. told prosecutors that police in Ust-Kut kept him overnight, gave him alcohol, and pressured him into signing a military service contract before taking him for a medical exam. His daughter said at least 17 men may have been forcibly brought to the enlistment office in two weeks and asked for an investigation, while acknowledging she had no evidence that officers received cash payments.
