> Israel has sealed off occupied West Bank crossings for a week for the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, tightening restrictions on Palestinian movement and access to holy sites. More than 300 checkpoints, among 925 movement obstacles, disrupt routes to work, schools and medical care, while the closure also blocks most Palestinian permit holders from entering Israel and settlements.
