> The Yichang-Xingshan High-Speed Railway in Hubei officially began operations on Monday, reducing travel between Yichang and Xingshan from two hours to 30 minutes. The 101-kilometer line is designed for speeds of up to 350 km/h and will initially carry as many as eight cross-line EMU trains daily.
