> Ireland goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu has withdrawn from both Nations League fixtures against Israel, saying his personal belief that killing innocent people is wrong made it impossible for him to take part. Fans, former players, politicians and pro-Palestine activists praised his stance, while criticism was directed at the Football Association of Ireland for proceeding with the matches.
