> A Northern Ireland court has cleared a Protestant parade to take a controversial route through a Catholic area for the first time in almost 30 years. The legal challenge ended early Sunday as counterprotests began, with police separating marchers from protesters. The Drumcree dispute has roots in the mid-1990s, when route tensions fueled riots, blockades and killings that threatened the peace process.
