> Russia is introducing patriotism lessons and materials that encourage children to view dying for their country as a sacrifice. A textbook used in some Novosibirsk schools reportedly portrays the Ukraine war as part of this message, denigrates Western countries and includes attacks on homosexuality, Europeans and popular culture. One student told DW he sees the message as serving the president’s interests.
