> EU countries have injected more than 46 billion cubic meters of gas into underground storage since the 2026 summer season began in April. Facilities were 70.35% full on September 23, below the five-year average and last year’s level, while at least 68 bcm must be injected to meet the 2026–2027 filling standard.
