> Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi briefed Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tehran’s negotiations with Muscat over navigation safety in the Strait of Hormuz and ongoing information exchanges with the US. Araghchi said Iran had shown a serious diplomatic approach but would firmly defend its interests and would not allow the US to use the strait to threaten its national security.
